Purple in colour. It is the quintessential Italian red, capturing the intense aromas
and rich, robust characteristics typical of the Abruzzo region. Spicy, with cherry
flavors, full, rich and well-rounded.
Viticulture
The Montepulciano grapes are grown in select vineyards in the Pescara and Chieti
provinces of Abruzzo, central Italy. The grapes are carefully hand-picked in late
September and early October. The vineyard workers constantly revisit the vineyards
so that the grapes can be selected at their optimum ripeness.

Tandem Sicily Cabernet sauvignon/Nero D'Avola

This wine has become a firm favourite of just about all of our customers who have bought a bottle. It is a rich, robust wine from Sicily and although most have heard of the Cabernet sauvignon grape which is associated with pairing with red meats, not so many have heard of Nero D'Avola which has similar characteristics. put the two together and we think this wine is like a Lennon McCartney  masterpiece!!!

Paola Sordo Gavi Italian DOCG 75cl

We love the Italian Gavi di Gavi wines which can only be described as a delight. Serve chilled with any seafood but gosh its amazing just on its own. this wine is great value compared with others and we recommend that you try.

Italy > Piedmont
Dry, White, Still wine
100% Cortese
Selected Cortese grapes from the vineyardsʼs Capriata dʼOrba, San Cristoforo, Gavi,
Francavilla, Province of Alessandria. Crisp and zesty, with a balanced and lingering
finish, that derives from the soil composition sandy marl along with marl-layered
sand. A still wine with a pale, straw-yellow gleam, this 100% Cortese proffers
delicate flower and fruit sensations with notes of linden blossom and peach. On the
palate the wine is subtle, elegant and refined. Crisp and zesty, with a balanced and
lingering finish.

The grapes are harvested when fully matured and the vinification starts straight
away when they get into the cellar. First it comes the soft pressing; follows an off the-skins fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of
17°-18°C.
Recommendation
Amazing as an aperitif drink, elegant paired with white meat, fish and vegetables
