Veuve Clicquot is a renowned Champagne house founded in 1772 by Philippe Clicquot in Reims, France. It is famous for its distinctive yellow label and its rich history, including the pioneering work of Madame Clicquot, who invented the riddling table process to clarify Champagne and created the first known blended rosé Champagne.

ln 1818, Madame Clicquot broke with tradition and created the very first blended rosé in Champagne. The cuvée is based on the traditional Yellow Label blend, completed with 12% of Red Pinot Noir especially selected to bring strength and aromatic richness.

Tasting Notes

This wonderful Rosé Champagne is a coppery-orange in colour, and has expressive aromas of ripe wild strawberries and dried fruits. It’s full-bodied and fresh on the palate. Length and character define this champagne.

Accompaniments

Serve alongside beef carpaccio, seared tuna or roast duck.
