San Juan is Argentina’s second largest wine producing region, located between Mendoza and La Rioja. It is almost entirely in the foothills of the Andes, benefiting from long sunny days, cool nights and cooling seas breezes – but it hot and drier than Mendoza, delivering a different fresher fruit character than found in most Mendoza malbecs.

Tasting Notes

This deep, inky violet Malbec is a pure and unoaked expression of Malbec. It is a great value fruit-forward wine with round, silky tannins and fresh acidity. Tempting flavours of blackberry, plum and black cherry are well balanced to give a delicious, food-friendly wine.

Accompaniments

Perfect with steak, grilled red meats, beef casserole, pizza, pasta with tomato sauces.
