Awarded Gold at The Drinks Business Rioja Masters. The wine is aged in 2-4 year old American oak for 12 months and has notes of cassis and cherry with a lovely vanilla edge.

Please note Rioja Vega Crianza 2019 Magnum comes in 1.5L bottles as opposed to the regular 75cl.

Tasting Notes

This Crianza wine from Rioja has notes of black fruit with toasty, cinnamon and toffee. In the mouth it is structured, meaty and balanced. Ruby red, clean and bright. Aromas of vanilla, roasted coffee and spices.

Accompaniments

A big wine like this can handle big meaty flavours. Lovely with lamb cutlets with salsa verde and new potatoes.
