We are thrilled to be able to offer this incredible Merlot from La Prensa’s elegant Reserva wines. Grown in the Central Valley of Chile, the Merlot grapes are harvested in March before entering a two-week long maceration process. The wine is then kept on light lees for three months in contact with French oak, before continuing the aging process in stainless steel vats until bottling.

Tasting Notes

The La Prensa Reserva Merlot is a fresh, medium-bodied red wine with a complex finish. On the nose, you’ll find intense notes of plum, cacao and toasted hazelnuts.

Accompaniments

This Merlot is perfect with pasta, white meat, noodles, kofta and pakora.
