Produced by Dacastello Vini Pregiati in the Mesagne commune of the Apulia region of Italy, the excellence of this red wine is deeply rooted in the sun-drenched land in which the Primitivo grapes are grown.

Tasting Notes

Light and elegant on the nose, you’ll notice this red’s characteristic cherry and plum notes. Warm and enveloping, this wine has a long finish with delicate tannins.

Accompaniments

Excellent with roast meats including game. We find this wine is particularly wonderful alongside traditional Apulian dishes such as orecchiette with cime di rapa or aubergines alla parmigiana.
